Richard D Wray, 56, of Dallas Texas, passed away on June 19, 2023 from a terminal disease. He was predeceased by his grandparents Alton Harris and Juanita Smith Harris McWhorter; Fred and Marie Wray. He left behind his wife of 35 years, Penny Wray, his children Richard P. Wray and Brittney Wade and her husband Travis Wade. His grandchildren Richard P. Wray Jr. Micheal Wray and Olivia Wray. His parents are Sherrie Martin, Micheal Wray and Judy Wray. His siblings John Wray, Shelly Guthrie, Dean Poor, and Todd Poor; as well as many other family and friends. 

Richard loved his family first and foremost, he was always spending time with his wife and children. The family loved to go fishing and spending time on the lake. He enjoyed having family get-togethers with everyone.  His second love was racing, he loved working on cars with his son and loved his racing friends as well. When he was not spending time with his family, he was working, he followed in his fathers footsteps and became a journeyman plumber.
